Fresh corn is a treat like no other, and summertime barbecues just wouldn't be the same without this treasured vegetable. Andronico's is proud to offer you sweet corn straight from Dwelley Farms. Raising vegetables next to 100-year-old almond trees, Dwelley Farms is located in Eastern Contra Costa County-a popular destination for city folks in search of good, fresh produce. Instead of boiling corn on the cob, grill it! Simply peel back husks without removing them and pull off silks. Replace husks then soak corn in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes. Shake off excess water before placing corn on a grill rack set over medium heat. Grill, turning occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes. When done, brush with butter or garlic butter. You can even punch up your grilled corn with a sprinkling of cheese, like cotija, or brush corn with a flavorful lime butter.

For dessert, serve delicious grilled nectarines. Grilling fruit is easier than you might think, and nectarines are perfect for the grill. With their brilliant golden yellow skin and sweet, succulent flavor, grilled nectarines topped with creme fraiche will draw pleasurable gasps from your dinner guests. Choose firm but ripe nectarines, halving and pitting them before grilling. You will want to make sure that your grill rack is brushed clean before adding the fruit. For added flavor, brush nectarines with a delicious honey-balsamic glaze, then cook over a medium-high heat, turning occasionally, for about 4 minutes. When heated through, arrange your grilled nectarines on a plate and drizzle with any leftover glaze. Add a dollop of creme fraiche in the center of each nectarine half and enjoy!
